Meet our team

Mark Pierce

Founder & Quantity Surveyor

Founder & Quantity Surveyor

Mark spent over a decade as a QS inside housebuilding — working directly for regional developers and main contractors across the South West. He knows exactly how main contractors think when they are reviewing a subcontractor tender, because he was the one reviewing them.

Since going independent, Mark has helped subcontractors across masonry, carpentry, drylining, decorating, flooring and rendering secure tens of millions of pounds worth of contracts. He also provides direct commercial support to main contractors on live projects — which means he stays sharp on both sides of the negotiating table.

Iain Cunningham

Quantity surveyor / Estimator

Iain started his career on the tools as a dryliner before moving into commercial management. He has worked as an in-house QS for a large subcontractor, managing projects for PLC housebuilders alongside commercial and domestic schemes — so he understands the pressures subcontractors face from the inside.

His background combines practical site knowledge with accountancy qualifications and commercial management experience. That means the numbers we produce are not just accurate — they are built around how real projects actually run on site.

Why subcontractors choose us

We only work with subcontractors. That focus means we understand your contracts, your relationships with main contractors, and what it takes to win work and protect your margin in this market.

We work fast, communicate clearly, and treat your business as if it were our own. Most of our clients come back to us for every tender — and many refer us to other trades in their network.

We are based in Plymouth but work with clients from London to Yorkshire, Wales to the South East. Because the majority of our work is document-based, geography is no barrier.
